Three Dead in a Car Crash in Samaria
A truck and a private vehicle crashed into each other near the T junction of road no. 60 in Samaria: medical teams that were called to the scene reported at least 3 people dead and 5 people wounded. Three fire fighter teams and a rescue car were called to the scene, as well as an emergency services helicopter.

Three people were killed Friday and 5 more were wounded in an accident between a truck and 2 private vehicles, not far from Ofra. The accident’s circumstances are being examined, and many rescue and medical teams, including a helicopter, were called to the accident’s scene. According to initial reports, the vehicles carried Palestinian license plates.

A report of the accident was received at around 16:00. Teams of Magen David Adom, ZAKA and United Hatzalah were called to the scene, but had difficulty reaching the place due to heavy traffic near Ofra. Eyewitnesses said one of the vehicles went on fire.

Upon the arrival of the emergency services to the scene, MADA reported that there were three fatalities in the scene, one person moderately wounded, and four others lightly wounded. Fire Brigade of the Judea and Samaria area reported that three fire fighting teams and a rescue car were called to the scene. The wounded were evacuated by Red Crescent ambulances for medical treatment in the Palestinian Authority territory.

Menachem Leff, head of Benyamin branch of United Hatzalah, said: “volunteers of the United Hatzalah motorcycle unit arrived and saw a very difficult and lethal accident, in which a semitrailer and 2 other cars were involved. Four of the passengers were trapped and released by emergency services, some of them were already dead. The emergency services gave first aid at the scene to a number of casualties. The accident’s circumstances are being examined by the police.”
