'Viziv' originates from the phrase "Vision for Innovation".
The concept features a sharper and more aggressive iteration of the company's Dynamic x Solid design language. The Subaru Viziv Performance Concept will evolve into the next-gen Subaru WRX. The car's hawkeye headlights, hexagonal grille, bumpers, flared fenders, protruding rear haunches and C-shaped tail lights all have a notable amount of angularity to them. Subaru has used carbon-fibre parts in the bumpers, fenders and roof.
The Subaru Viziv Performance Concept is 4,630 mm long, 1,950 mm wide and 1,430 mm tall. It is 5 mm longer, 173 mm wider and 25 mm lower than the latest Subaru Impreza sedan. The wheelbase, at 2,730 mm, is 60 mm longer. Subaru has fitted large, 245/40 R20 tyres in the Viziv Performance Concept. Under the hood, there's a boxer engine, the specifications of which are unknown as of now. Power is continually and actively distributed to the individual wheel or wheels with the best traction, thanks to the Symmetrical permanent AWD system.
The next-gen Subaru WRX could debut in 2018 and go on sale as an MY2019 model in the USA.
