Israeli Burglar Fell Asleep in a Car
A resident of Petah Tikva got into her car and found a burglar sleeping. The suspect fell asleep under the influence of alcohol. The young man left the crime scene with a crowbar in his hand but was later captured by the cops.

A resident of Petah Tikva wanted to go to work on Thursday morning and was shocked to see a young man sleeping in her car. When she woke him up, she understood that it was a burglar, who fled away quickly with a crowbar in his hand. Petah Tikva policemen were called to the scene and began searching for the suspect. A short time later the officers caught a 24 year old man and took him for questioning. The investigation revealed that the suspect was under the influence of alcohol and was looking for a place to sleep, so he chose a vehicle to spend the night.

"This is a puzzling event with a criminal aspect," said the investigating officer in Petah Tikva police station Nir Hershkowitz. "Some praises should be given to the car owner for fulfilling her civic duty. She kept calm and called the cops who arrested the suspect."
