The website Autoblog NL is no relation to us but this morning passed along to us a new photo of the 2018 Volvo XC60, a day before its full reveal at the Geneva Motor Show.
And the XC60 bears a strong resemblance to its big brother the XC90 (and presumably for thousands less). Overall, the car appears a bit leaner and less upright than the XC90, but it retains that Volvo vibe, from its cool new Hammer of Thor headlights to a new take on the sinuous D-pillar taillights. Volvo's lead designer has said the three series (40, 60, and 90) will be more differentiated from now on, but the family resemblance is still very clear.
This leaked photo comes on the heels of two teaser images from Volvo. Those two follow in the gallery above.
There will be a lot new inside the car, most notably its new semi-autonomous steering safety systems. More will be revealed tomorrow in Geneva, including details on availability.
