The Porsche Cayenne once enjoyed a market that was completely devoid of any super-fast SUVs that could challenge it.
Now SUVs like the BMW X6M, Mercedes-Benz GLE63 S and Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR give speed-freaks with families plenty of choice. But which one of these crazy-fast V8 barnstormers is the fastest in a drag race? The German cars both have twin-turbo V8 engines. The BMW produces 575 hp from a 4.4-liter V8 while the Mercedes produces 585 hp from a 5.5-liter twin turbo V8.
The Land Rover produces "only" 542 hp from a 5.0-liter supercharged V8. The German SUVs may have the plucky British Land Rover beat on paper, but AutoMotoTV took all three out to the drag strip to find out which one is actually the king of the SUVs.
