PSA launching D.C. car-sharing service with cars that only sound French
No, the cars won't be Peugeots or Citroens

French carmaker PSA, maker of Peugeot and Citroen cars, will launch a car-sharing service in Washington, D.C., at the end of October, a senior PSA executive said on Tuesday.

PSA will initially use 600 Chevrolet cars in Washington, Brigitte Courtehoux, director of mobility services at PSA, said at the Paris Motor Show.

PSA has said that it intends to use car-sharing as a way to reintroduce its own brands back into the U.S. marketplace, after pulling out of the States in 1991. The use of Chevrolets wasn't explained as part of the strategy, but presumably Peugeots, Citroens or Opels would be introduced into the vehicle mix after an initial rollout.
