After all, if the public wants it, automakers will build it. Collective pleas for the Kia GT4 Stinger may be why Australian Kia executive Damien Meredith told Australia's Motoring that the Holden Commodore fighter will become a reality.
An all-wheel drive model may also come at some point, but no one except Kia knows if this is a fact or more speculation. No mention was made either on whether the Kia would make it to the US, however Meredith said that the car would make a debut in Australia soon. The Kia representative said, “We can’t wait for CK (codename for the Stinger). It will be here in the third quarter of next year.” Given that Meredith represents Kia in Australia, the executive highlighted the Korean automaker hopes that the Stinger will sell strongly. Since Australia’s auto manufacturing is in the toilet, Kia hopes that the Stinger will steal customers that would otherwise buy a Holden Commodore or Ford Falcon. If it looks like the concept, we're sure it will.
