Suzuki Baleno 1.2 SHVS, Suzuki Baleno 1.0 Boosterjet at Geneva Motor Show

Based on a rigid, lightweight new generation platform, the 2016 Suzuki Baleno will be positioned above the Suzuki Swift. The UK launch is scheduled for June 2016.

The all-new Suzuki Baleno, manufactured by Maruti, measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,745 mm in width and 1,470 mm* in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,520 mm. It will be available with the 1.0-litre BOOSTERJET turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine produces 110 hp and 170 Nm of torque, as well as the 1.2-litre DUALJET naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine with the SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) featuring engine assist by an integrated starter generator.

Exterior highlights include LED headlamps, LED daytime, LED tail lights, 16-inch alloy wheels and roof spoiler. Comfort and convenience features include adaptive cruise control system, heated seat, Smartphone Linkage Audio Display infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink smartphone integration compatibility and reversing camera. Safety and security features include Radar Brake Support, ESP and 6 SRS airbags.
