2019 Skoda Superb (facelift) revealed in leaked images
The third-gen Skoda Superb debuted in 2015 and will soon receive a mid-cycle makeover. In December 2018, spy media of the facelifted station wagon version surfaced online.

The changes to the car's front-end are subtle in nature. The revised grille is a tad wider and slightly more angular than before, while the lower half of the front bumper features revised fog lamps and black plastic cladding that stretches across the width of the bumper.

At the rear, the 2019 Skoda Superb (facelift) features a chrome strip that connects the revised tail lights. Furthermore, the updated model features the word ŠKODA affixed in individual letters and dynamic turn indicators. Both these features debuted at Skoda in the Scala.

The refreshed Skoda Superb will make it to the history books as the first-ever plug-in hybrid from the Czech carmaker. The electrified powerplant on offer will comprise a 156 PS 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine and a 115 PS electric motor. The setup will have a combined output of 217 PS. The electric motor will get its juice from a 13 kWh battery and will provide an all-electric range of approximately 70 km. The conventional engine options will be carried over from the outgoing version.

The 2019 Skoda Superb (facelift) is expected to debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show in March.
