The 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid measures 4,885 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width and 1,445 mm in height. The hybrid sedan has a 2,825 mm wheelbase and a 145 mm ground clearance. It is powered by the A25A-FXS 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 178 PS at 5,700 rpm and 221 Nm of torque from 3,600-5,200 rpm. The 3NM electric motor generating 120 PS and 202 Nm of torque assists this TNGA-based engine. Both sources together deliver 211 PS. The all-new Camry's hybrid variant has a fuel economy rating (JC08 test cycle) of up to 33.4 km/l.
On the outside, the 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid features bi-beam LED headlamps with three-level stacked LED clearance lamps, 3D lower grille, 18-inch wheels and LED tail lamps. A large panoramic moonroof lets in sunlight and fresh air. Toyota has equipped the hybrid sedan with 7-inch colour driver information display, colour head-up display, genuine leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob, 8-way power adjustable driver's seat and an infotainment system with an 8-inch display and navigation.
Saud Abbasi, Managing Director of Toyota at Al-Futtaim Motors, has confirmed that the 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid will go on sale in the Middle East next year.
