ust days ahead of its world premiere at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show on 1 March, the fourth generation 2016 Renault Scenic has leaked online, courtesy the Automobilist.

The exterior comes as no surprise after numerous spyshots and many renderings have surfaced on the web since a year or even more. The all-new model’s styling is somewhat inspired by that of the Renault R-Space concept, but overall, the exterior is pretty much in-line with the models that feature the company’s new design language – Renault Espace, Renault Kadjar, Renault Talisman and the Renault Megane. The all-new model seen in the picture is a dual-tone with gold-black combination.

After the Espace, Kadjar, Talisman and the Megane, the Scenic will be the next Renault to be based on the C/d version of the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s CMF platform. Like the platform and design, the interior layout will be similar to these models as well. Like the brand’s other latest new generation models, this one too would get all the new technologies including colour head-up display and the R-Link 2 infotainment system.

The 2016 Renault Scenic is expected to be offered with TCe petrol and dCi diesel engine choices with displacements ranging from 1.2- to 1.6-litre, and 6-speed manual, 6-speed Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) and 7-Speed Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) transmission options. Following the Swiss motor show debut next month, the fourth generation Scenic will likely go on sale in H2 2016. Its three-row version, the Renault Grand Scenic, should debut in a fully redesigned avatar at the 2016 Paris Motor Show in October.
